great walks and attractions nearby make it enjoyable
I loved that we were just a short drive from the Tiptree Jam Museum where we indulged in some delicious treats, and we also enjoyed the stunning views at Layer Marney Tower, which really made our explorations enjoyable. the hotel was ideal for weekend city adventures since everything we wanted to see was relatively close by, but the service could have been improved.

The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony where I could enjoy the beautiful countryside views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long day. The staff were friendly and always willing to help throughout my stay.
The swimming pool was overcrowded and I couldn't get a proper swim.

The spa treatments were truly relaxing and well-executed.
The steam room was closed and there was no water in the jacuzzi, which was very disappointing.

Had an amazing weekend with friends! We enjoyed dancing and gameshows, then watched spectacular live shows by the talented Potters Theatre Company in their new theatre. The facilities were top-notch, especially the golf courses and dining options, making it a fantastic escape for our group.
One downside was the unexpected mix-up with our room bookings. it took a bit to sort it out, which was frustrating.

I had a lovely time at Five Lakes during my weekend getaway. The staff were friendly right from check-in. My room, a Double Room Two Double Beds, was comfortable and designed well. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool despite the warm weather. I really appreciated the tea and coffee facilities. they added a nice touch. I had a fantastic meal in the brasserie restaurant. Every dish was flavorful, and the attentiveness of the staff made dining there enjoyable. The leisure facilities were a bit outdated, but I still had fun with the snooker and table tennis. The golf course provided beautiful views, and the round was relaxing. I did face some delays with the food service. The breakfast rush led to some items running out, and there was a long wait for drinks. It seemed like the bar staff struggled at times. Still, the overall ambiance was welcoming, making the stay memorable despite a few hiccups.

The spa staff were fantastic they treated us like royalty and our massage therapist was not only skilled but she seemed genuinely passionate about her work I felt like a new man after that session and the whole experience was relaxing and rejuvenating.
It wasn't exactly pocket change but you know for the experience it was worth it.
